We mostly went for the animals, but the play areas might have been the kids’ favourite bit. I thought maybe they’d just have a quick run around, but they stayed there for ages, which gave us a nice chance to sit down for a bit. It was clean enough, I think, and there seemed to be plenty to keep them busy. We’d definitely consider going back.

The enclosures looked clean to me, and some of the animals seemed to have loads of space to move around. I’m not exactly an expert, so maybe I’m missing something, but from what I saw, they looked well looked after...

We took the kids for the day and, it was a good visit. I’m a bit worn out these days by places that make everything feel like a hassle, so it was nice that we could just wander around and enjoy it. The animal talks were actually interesting, and the signs around the zoo kept the kids asking questions and learning without it feeling like a lesson. A few areas could’ve done with a bit more information, but overall it was fun, easy enough, and educational. We’d go again.

I thought the tickets were a fair price for what you get. There was plenty to look at, and we ended up spending a few hours there without really noticing the time. The food inside was a bit expensive, although I was going to say that put me off, but that's normal for places like this. Overall, it felt like good value and I'd happily go again.

Booked our Blackpool Zoo tickets online for a family day out and it was all straightforward.

The website was easy enough to use, prices and dates were clear, and the confirmation email came through quickly.

Went with the kids and, to be honest, it wasn’t the most family-friendly day out for us. A few areas felt cramped with the buggy, and it was harder than expected to find places to sit down or sort the kids out for a bit. The toilets could definitely do with being better too. The animals were lovely to see, so it wasn’t all bad, but overall the day felt more stressful than fun. For the price, I just expected it to be a bit easier with young children.

Popped into the gift shop after the zoo and it was nice. They had some decent little bits for the kids and the prices weren’t too bad either. The queue moved a bit slowly, but the staff were friendly enough, so no big deal. I’d probably stop by again next time.

The queues were actually fine and moved along okay, but the toilets really needed a proper clean. Not sure how to explain it, they just felt a bit neglected compared to the rest of the place

I always tend to notice patterns with places like this, and usually if the enclosures look clean and well looked after, the animals seem more comfortable too. That was definitely the case here. The animals had loads of space, everything looked tidy and well maintained, and it was easy to see into the enclosures without feeling like you were crowding them. Really enjoyed the visit.

Had a really good day at Blackpool Zoo. There were way more animals than I expected, like big cats, giraffes, penguins, monkeys and reptiles. The kids stayed interested the whole time, which was a bonus. We spent a few hours there and felt like we’d seen plenty

We had a really good day out at Blackpool Zoo. The kids absolutely loved seeing the giraffes and the sea lions, and I thought the layout was really easy to follow without feeling like we were walking miles between everything. The animal enclosures looked well looked after too, which was nice to see. We stopped at the cafe during the visit and the food was decent, with friendly service, but the prices for drinks and little snacks were a bit higher than I expected. Not enough to spoil the day, but I’d probably take a few extra bits with us next time. Overall though, it was a lovely visit and definitely worth going.

I took my mum in her wheelchair it was much easier than I expected. Most of the paths were nice and smooth, the staff were really helpful when we needed a hand, and the accessible toilets were clean too. I think other customers visiting with someone in a wheelchair would feel reassured here. We ended up having a lovely day without any stress.

I was just trying to check the ticket prices and opening times, but the site made it way more annoying than it needed to be.

There’s kind of a lot happening on the pages, and on mobile especially it feels cluttered. I ended up scrolling around more than I expected just to find basic info.

The zoo itself might be lovely, but the website could definitely use a tidy-up. A cleaner layout would make it much easier to use...

The food was fine overall, but it didn’t really leave much of an impression. It’s the kind of meal you finish without complaining, but also without thinking about coming back anytime soon...

Had a good visit overall. The zoo was really clean for most of the day, which was nice. The toilets did get a bit messy later on when it got busier, but nothing that ruined the trip. Still enjoyed it.

We went expecting a fun, comfortable visit, but it was so packed we could barely move around. It didn’t really match the impression we had beforehand, so I left feeling misled and disappointed.

I mainly went for the keeper talks, but they were a letdown. A few felt really rushed, some started late, and it was hard to hear what was being said. There wasn’t much interesting info either, so it mostly felt like we were just standing around waiting. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but I’d warn others not to build your whole visit around these talks.

We had a really nice day out with the kids, and they seemed to enjoy themselves the whole time, which is always a win. We went after breakfast because I thought it might be quieter earlier in the day, and luckily the weather held up too. The only downside was that it felt a bit pricey for what it was, especially once you add in snacks and the little extras, but overall it was a good day and I’m glad we went.
